OBJECTIVE
A bird dog is disciplined, dependable and will engage in the relentless pursuit of its objective. Bird Dog Industrial was founded on these same principles by Mark Sonnenberg. My background is pursuing, negotiating and managing industrial real estate projects across North America. I’ve completed over 1,000 industrial real estate projects in 41 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and 5 Mexican states. I have an extensive network of national influencers including brokers, users, institutional and local investors, developers, general contractors and other industrial related vendors. My objective is to build an industrial real estate investment portfolio utilizing my strengths of business development, project management and creative ingenuity in order to maximize investor returns.

Mark's real estate career began in 1998 and has included acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of industrial properties throughout North America. Mark served as Senior Vice President, Partner and Manager of the Industrial Brokerage Division for the Kansas City office of Cassidy Turley (formerly Colliers International and now Cushman & Wakefield). In 2013, Mark and his family relocated to San Diego where he continued to operate his international tenant representation practice while working for NAI LaSala-Sonnenberg. In 2020, Bird Dog Industrial moved it’s headquarters to Phoenix in order to be more strategically located in a growing industrial market within the Southwestern U.S.
Mark's career has been highlighted by long term strategic partnerships with several large industrial users assisting them in executing their international supply chain and logistics strategies. These relationships established a strong and diverse network and helped build the foundation for Bird Dog Industrial. Mark is a member of the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).
